If they had a most improved category this would be the place. I hadn’t been here in quite some time but we were in the area yesterday for lunch so thought we would try it again. They have really stepped up their menu and quality, much Nicer generous cuts of sashimi. Everything was fresh and very tasty. we had the bento box each for lunch and then shared some rolls and sashimi. The lion roll was exceptional. Spicy tuna and California rolls also did not disappoint. Sashimi served was nice and fresh with generous cuts. Definitely not cheap but it was delicious. An excellent option for sushi in the area. Recommended.
I was lucky enough to visit this amazing sushi restaurant in Calgary, and from the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be a memorable experience. The service was warm, friendly and attentive at all times, which made me feel right at home and the food was simply spectacular. Every bite transported me straight to Japan, with a freshness and balance of flavours that only a true sushi master can achieve. The cuts of fish were impeccable and the rice had the perfect texture, each dish was executed with precision and creativity. The only thing that left me wondering is how interesting it would be to see a more elaborate dish on the menu. With the chef's obvious talent, I'm convinced he could dare to create something unique and exclusive, a dish that further elevates the experience and manages to take us to discover the more sophisticated corners of Japanese cuisine. Without a doubt, this place is a gem in Calgary and I can't wait to return to see what new wonders it will offer.Highly recommended!"
Great family run restaurant. The sashimi was fresh and the unagi don was really good. The owners' daughters were also so cute and amusing, and made our visit more enjoyable!
This little family owned Sushi restaurant is the perfect place to dine in and satisfy those sushi cravings! The food is fresh and tasty. Portion size is also great. The price is fair and the service is excellent. Would I come back? Absolutely! If your in the area stop by and support this family operated restaurant. You won’t be disappointed. Happy dining.

Been eating here for around 15 years. I lived in Vancouver for 10 years where good sushi is easy to find. For Calgary, Sushi Toki is the best you can find. The fish has flavour and the rolls are great! Wasabi is hot! My favorite is the Rock n Roll Roll.
I have come here for several years intermittently and the quality is always excellent. The sushi rolls always taste so good. The presentation of the rolls, the sashimi, really whatever you order is always appealing to the eye with a touch of creativity / fun plating by the chef. Ambiance is 10/10 because the music is NEVER loud and these days restaurants just love to have the music on blast making for a yelling match between tables. Here the music is playing as soft as the lighting & guests take the cue naturally by keeping conversations at a hush. Thank you for years of excellent dining experiences from the taste to the service to the atmosphere. All for such reasonable pricing, I won’t stop coming here.
